Absolutely fascinated by this series – there’s so many little factoids that I love. Learning in this episode that “Assuwa” is where we get the word Asia for eastern from..! The maps on the website are really helpful too..! Love your podcast – thanks!

  Yes, it’s quite an interesting one. The other one that I didn’t talk so much about is the ancient city of Israel called Megiddo which the Greeks called Armageddon, which is where the Bible tells us the battle to end times will take place, hence the meaning of the word today.
